YeeSwitch for macOS · Last updated 12 August 2026
YeeSwitch collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, and no network connections of any kind. Everything it knows stays on your Mac.
YeeSwitch saves only what it needs to show your switcher, and it saves it locally on your Mac:
This data lives in your user Library folder, under ~/Library/Application Support, and in the app's standard macOS preferences. It never leaves your device.
macOS may ask you to grant YeeSwitch permission to detect its global keyboard shortcut and to bring other apps to the front. These permissions are used solely to run the switcher. No information gathered through them is stored, logged, or transmitted.
Moving YeeSwitch to the Trash removes the app. To remove its saved sets, preferences, and icon cache as well, delete the YeeSwitch folder inside ~/Library/Application Support.
YeeSwitch does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future release ever collects data, that change will be described here before it ships.
